Marco Belinelli (6'5 192 SG, 2nd year) has shown offensive brilliance since the summer league before his first season, but sat most of the his rookie year on the bench, averaging just 7 minutes. He played his way into the league with an outstanding performance for Team Italy in the 2006 World Championships, especially when he torched the American team.
Hopefully another strong pre-season will earn him some well-deserved PT. Last night he torched the Bucks for 22 points (on 13 shots) to go with 6 assists while playing a team-high 45 minutes. Belinelli is long and smooth, playing much like Ginobili, and has the potential to be great.
